One of BPI’s current preworkout products is the supplement 1.M.R. Like most preworkouts, it’s designed for three things: focus, strength, and vascularity. But as we said, that’s what most preworkouts offer. Trying to infiltrate an already oversaturated market, does 1.M.R have anything over the competition to give it an edge?
Is 1.M.R Effective?
After examining 1.M.R’s ingredients, we found that it had most of the right ingredients to offer the benefits that it promised. For strength it contains Beta-Alanine and Creatine Monohydrate. These ingredients push strength to a whole new level. Creatine fuels muscles with ATP while Beta-Alanine thickens carsnosine concentrations. The result is prolonged endurance and limit-breaking output.
1.M.R also contains focus and energy enhancers like caffeine anhydrous, L-Taurine, L-Tyrosine, N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine, 1,3 Dimethylamylamine, and Schizandra A. Together these ingredients help improve motivation, increase mental endurance, and stave off neural fatigue.
Finally, 1.M.R contains Arginine AKG for a nitric oxide booster. When Arginine AKG is broken down it gives of NO gas, the catalyst needed to open up veins and bring more blood to muscles. Unfortunately, 1.M.R only has one true vasodilator. Many other products in the preworkout category are infusing their formulas with several variants of Arginine and other vasodilators like Citrulline Malate.
Is 1.M.R Safe?
Do not exceed one scoop of 1.M.R per day. Taking this product in excess can cause jitters, shaking, and can even create low swings in blood pressure.
Final Conclusion
Without a more comprehensive Arginine blend it’s hard to recommend this product. However, the fact that it’s so affordable might make us turn a blind eye. For 30 servings, you’ll only pay about $13. That’s one of the lowest preworkout prices we’ve ever seen. The low price manifests itself in the lack of ingredients, but still, 1.M.R offers a lot for the price it comes at.
