With the global enthusiasm for bodybuilding, it comes as no surprise that pre-workout supplements are going to come from all over the world. So when we saw that the British company PharmaFreak had come out with its first pre-workout supplement we were excited to see what it could offer.
Because Amino Freak promises to not only compete with the rest of the global workout supplement market, but to even blow the competition out of the water, we decided to take a look at this pre-workout supplement to see what it could really offer.
Background
Amino Freak is supposed to be the world’s most advanced amino acid supplement, offering your body more innovative amino acids that are more readily absorbed by the body.
This pre-workout supplement is also supposed to prevent your body from breaking down muscle tissue, while also helping give your body what it needs to build more muscles.
History
PharmaFreak designed Amino Freak in response to monotony in the amino acid supplement industry. Even though more and more products are being introduced each year, there seemed to be a lack of originality and each supplement seemed the same as the last.
In order to remedy this, PharmaFreak supposedly designed Amino Freak to have a different range of ingredients to help increase your body’s ability to build muscle in response to different workouts.
Although the fact that Amino Freak is supposed to be miles above the rest of the competition is definitely a tantalizing thought, we can’t ignore the fact that this product is only as good as its ingredients.
Ingredients
The ingredient that is supposed to be innovative and advanced in Amino Freak is the BCAA ratio. Although this acronym might sound foreign and innovative, BCAA actually stands for Branched Chain Amino Acids, meaning that these amino acids simply have aliphatic side chains made out of carbon.
Essentially, this is just a more specific category of amino acids, including Leucine, Valine and Isoleucine, not a more effective type of amino acid.
Amino Freak also has a cortisol blocking formula, since Cortisol is responsible for the breakdown of muscle tissues.
Our Opinion
However, it is also responsible for the breakdown of fat, which means you could be inhibiting your ability to lose weight. Because of this, we can’t recommend Amino Freak.
