AnEvol is a testosterone booster from a company called Evolution Labs. By using a blend of anabolic compounds and all natural extracts, AnEvol is designed to help create a more anabolic environment within the body, making it easier to stack on new muscle, develop more strength, and improve body composition. This is what you would hope to see from any testosterone booster but was AnEvol really able to deliver all these benefits? Being that it was discontinued, we are quite doubtful.

AnEvol Ingredients

The two ingredients in AnEvol that caught our eye most were 17a-dimethyl-17a-hydroxy-5a-etiocholan-3-one and 17a-methyl-17b-hydroxy-5a-etiocholan-2-ene. These are listed as “anabolic compounds” on AnEVOL’s label, but in reality they are prohormones. They function by providing the body with precursors that can be used to construct anabolic hormones like testosterone. They have been known to be very effect but they can also be very dangerous. Prohormones are often banned shortly after being released for the side effects they cause.

Researching AnEVOL’s prohormones, we found that they were heavy in “methyl” content. High-methyl compounds like these have been known to cause liver damage. To counteract this complication, AnEVOL has included a blend of liver-assisting extracts and antioxidants. This liver supporting mix contains milk thistle, green tea, and ginger to name just a few. Normally, these ingredients would be excellent for protecting against liver damage but AnEVOL only contains 4mg of them. We doubt that is enough to offset the damage its prohormones are capable of.

Aside from being a little dangerous, AnEVOL was probably also not very cost effective. Its most plentiful ingredient is 100mg of Red Kidney Bean. This ingredient is decent but it shouldn’t outnumber AnEVOL’s muscle-building compounds 25 to 1.

Conclusion

Overall, this supplement was too dangerous and inefficient to consider trying. Even if you could find it in stock out there, we recommend steering clear of it.
