Epistane was a popular muscle builder that operated by boosting levels of testosterone. From the customer feedback we were able to read up on, Epistane seemed to be very effective. Many of the reviews we read reported that it helped many users pack on ten or more pounds of muscle. These results would be ideal from a testosterone boosting supplement but if Epistane was so effective why then was it discontinued? The answer is simple. It wasn’t available on the market for long because it was basically a steroid capable of causing several harmful side effects. Despite the health risks, however, some people are still looking for this product hoping to find it in stock somewhere. Should they? Let’s find out.

Epistane Reviews

The main ingredient in Epistane is Methepitiostane or 2a,3a-epithio-17a-methyl-5a-androstan-17b-ol. This is a rather unique compound. Often times these sort of prohormones or steroids cause a long list of side effects. But Methepitiostane seemed to be able to be less likely to cause androgenic side effects. This is because its androgenic effects were 1/12th as potent as its anabolic results. This means that it had less tendency to produce androgen hormones that would quickly be converted into estrogen. This means that Epistane was a rare prohormone that had reduced risk of causing gyno, acne, or water retention.

But while it did well with regards to not causing spikes in estrogen, Epistane still caused some side effects that were hard to ignore. Methepitiostane is heavy in Methyl content. While chemicals that contain methyl are effective at producing anabolic effects they are actually poisonous to the liver. This meant that it would be necessary to stack Epistane with a liver supporting supplement to make sure the organ would not experience damage or strain.

Conclusion

With the harm Epistane poses to the liver, we wouldn’t recommend trying to find the last few bottles of this stuff floating around out there. The fact that you would need to stack it with another product just to make it safe is not a cost effective use of your money. You would be better off investing in supplements that can get the job done safely on their own.
