What is Fat Smack?
Fat Smack is one of Purus Labs’ fat-burning dietary supplements. The product claims that it uses only the most efficient ingredients in order to provide you with the most results while avoiding those ingredients that add nothing to your fat-burning regimen.
What are the Ingredients in Fat Smack?
Fat Smack’s main fat-burner is 1,3,7-trimethylxanthine; otherwise known as caffeine. The other properties of Fat Smack aren’t big fat-punchers, but rather are ones that lower stress or minimize arthritis. Ingredients such as Cissus Quadrangularis, most commonly found in Thai, African and ayurvedic medicine are more likely to be beneficial in calming the jittery effects of caffeine rather than to help you blast those pounds of fat away.
What Else Should I Know About Fat Smack?
Although caffeine is a widely known and used pharmacological agent, in fact it is the most popular medicine used worldwide, that does not mean it comes without its own side effects. People who have used caffeine-based supplements often report dry-mouth, jitters and even heart flutters. Although Cissus Quadrangularis might be able to smooth over those unwanted side-effects, most of the other ingredients haven’t been proven to do so.
For instance, Purus Labs reports 2-amino-4 methylhexane to mimic the effect of the sympathetic nervous system and cause a euphoric sensation in its users, but there is no clinical research to prove this. The only thing 2-amino-4 methylhexane has proved to be useful for is to unclog your sinuses as it is used in many nasal decongestants. Not weight-loss aids.
For a company like Purus Labs that prides themselves so much on only using pure ingredients that will give you purely positive results, it is interesting to note that modern research doesn’t agree with their results. One of their ingredients, piperdine, is even listed as a Table II precursor under the United Nations Convention Against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances because of its use in the manufacturing of the drug PCP.
