One of the most frustrating things in the supplement industry is when nutrition companies sacrifice good health for results.

Whether it’s by using a dangerous ingredient, or by using too much of a harsh one, some supplements can actually leave you worse off than you were before.

Needless to say, we were worried about unsafe ingredients when we saw that Freak’n Pumped promises to pump your muscles so big that your skin will burst. Nevertheless, we decided to investigate this product before we made any snap decisions about it.

The Good

Even though Freak’n Muscle, the makers of Freak’n Pumped, made some pretty outlandish claims about Freak’n Pumped, we were surprised to see that there wasn’t anything too out of the ordinary on its label.

Like most other supplements, we found a handful of amino acids like L-Arginine and Beta-Alanine as well as a healthy dose of caffeine to get your body moving.

Even though these ingredients aren’t the most powerful, they’re often used to attempt to raise the levels of Nitric Oxide in the body so that the walls of the blood vessels are relaxed and more blood is able to flow from your heart to the rest of your tissues.

But the only other ingredient we saw that is capable of producing big results is Creatine. Creatine is a natural and organic acid that is produced within the body.

Its main responsibility is to deliver energy throughout the tissues, which would make it crucial for staving off fatigue in the muscles. Because of this it is often included in pre-workout supplements, but it should be used in moderation.

Large doses of Creatine can cause not only failure of the kidneys but also failure of the entire renal system. In addition, research has also shown that habitual use of Creatine supplements can cause buildup of harmful formaldehyde that can slowly pickle your organs.

The Bad

Despite the fact that so many pre-workout supplements, including Freak’n Pumped, promise to open the blood vessels while you workout, they also include stimulants that can counteract this by restricting blood flow.

One of these ingredients, 1,3-Dimethylamylamine is used in Freak’n Pumped as a stimulant, but it was developed as a vasoconstrictor for nasal decongestants and will actually inhibit the flow of blood.

The Skinny

Even though there are some powerful ingredients in Freak’n Pumped, we can’t recommend this pre-workout supplement because it could be potentially dangerous and ineffective.
