When most people think of having friction during their workouts, it doesn’t usually inspire much confidence, and it definitely doesn’t make everyone else in the gym envious.
But because VPX claims to have rethought friction and developed a pre-workout supplement by the same name as this sometimes painful condition, we decided to give this idea one more chance and do a little research on Friction.
What Friction Does
Just like the real friction will sometimes cause a fire in your pants or armpits, Friction by VPX has been designed to put the fire that fuels your workout.
Promising to add more energy, focus and power into your time spent at the gym, Friction is supposed to be the best way to increase the amount of results that you get from each time you go to the gym, allowing you to increase in strength as well as endurance.
Since so many pre-workout supplements claim to be able to work by increasing your energy levels, we thought we ought to take a look at the ingredients in Friction to see if it can walk the walk as well as talk the talk.
How Friction Does It
After looking at the ingredients that make Friction tick, we were impressed that there were no harsh stimulants that have been proven to be especially harmful to the body.
In fact, VPX makes a big statement about making sure everyone knows that Friction does not contain any geranium or geranium-related ingredients. This is definitely a good thing since geranium has been found to cause long-term heart problems.
However, we didn’t find any ingredients that have been proven to be extra effective. We did see a large amount of Caffeine Anhydrous which is a dehydrated version of the powerful stimulant.
Although many products contain caffeine, the least of which being pre-workout supplements, caffeine anhydrous is more potent because of its dehydrated state.
Would We Buy Friction?
Because Friction promises to dramatically increase your levels of energy, focus and power, we expected to see more powerful ingredients. Despite the fact that caffeine anhydrous is potent, the body also quickly builds up immunity to the power of caffeine.
Even though Friction is definitely a mediocre pre-workout supplement, we found it on clearance from many nutritional supplement distributors, and if you can find it for a low enough price, we recommend trying this product in addition to another more powerful one.
