When the brain needs a boost, more and more people are turning to natural supplements.
One of the biggest benefits people are looking for from their mood-enhancing supplement is a boost in GABA. GABA (gamma aminobutyric acid) is considered one of the most important and abundant neurotransmitters found in the brain. And while it is more effective when taken intravenously, it is still considered to be effective when taken orally.
The final question remains, is GABA safe, and are there any major risks?
Experts say there are few if any major side effects associated with supplementing your diet with GABA. Some users have reported a mild tingling sensation around the face and neck, and some users notice a brief and mild increase in heart rate and breathing patterns. But any side effects disappear quickly and most individuals using GABA do not experience any side effects.
So while the traditional use of GABA supplements has been to enhance the mood and give your brain a boost, it actually does so much more.
