HypOxygen is oxygenation product meant to supply blood, tissue, and muscles with the oxygen they need to optimally function and quickly recover. HypOxygen accomplishes this by supplying key nutrients the body needs to boost red blood cell and hemoglobin production. But while oxygen is necessary for recovery from workouts, is a whole supplement dedicated to oxygenation really worth investing in? That’s what we wanted to find out.
Is HypOxygen Effective?
If you’re expecting to find any interesting ingredients in HypOxygen, you’re in for disappointment. After just a quick glance of its label, it immediately became apparent that there was nothing special in this product. Made from several B vitamins, iron, and selenium, HypOxygen contains ingredients that you can find in almost any no-name-brand supplements at the grocery store. These ingredients though are needed by the body to regulate the production of hemoglobin and red blood cells, but you can get these from much cheaper multivitamins.
As far as HypOxygen’s claims about vasodilation, we found nothing that is going to produce any noticeable results in vascularity. If you expect to widen veins with a supplement, it needs to contain L-Arginine or L-Citruline. HypOxygen does contain L-Carnitine, but this amino acid is more associated with heart health and memory enhancement than oxygenation.
Is HypOxygen Safe?
If taken in excess, the iron content in HypOxygen can be very poisonous, especially for children.
Final Conclusion
Though perhaps somewhat effective, HypOxygen is still not worth the price. Selling for nearly $40 a bottle, HypOxygen is not cost effective in the slightest. In fact, this is one of the worst deals we’ve seen in a long time. If you absolutely need an oxygenation product, we recommend going nowhere near this one. You can find ample alternatives at your local grocer for a way better price.
