Nanostim is a pre-workout supplement that has been designed to help you increase the amount of arginine in your blood stream.

Since MuscleTech, Nanostim’s maker, promises to keep all of the information about this product extremely public, we decided to take a look at Nanostim to see what it has to offer.

What Does Nanostim Do?

According to its website, Nanostim has been formulated with huge doses of L-Citrulline which is supposed to increase the amount of arginine in your blood stream, thereby decreasing the amount of fatigue your muscles feel.

Unlike other pre-workout supplements, Nanostim is not a powder that you add to a beverage, but it is a capsule that you simply have to take about a half an hour before you workout.

MuscleTech says that by making Nanostim the most convenient and the most effective pre-workout supplement, they have changed the industry, as well as the way you workout.

However, we are not so sure that Nanostim is going to be quite as effective as it claims to be.

How Does It Do It?

L-Citrulline, unlike MuscleTech’s claims, is actually a byproduct of the oxidization of arginine, rather than a stimulator. L-Citrulline is an intermediate in the urea cycle, which is essentially the function of removing filtered wastes from the body.

As arginine is oxidized it gives off L-Citrulline, which then gives off nitric oxide as it is then oxidized.

Although nitric oxide can energize your muscles and prevent them from feeling as much fatigue as they would normally, there has been some controversy as to whether your body processes L-Citrulline supplements the same way it does with the natural byproducts.

In fact, most of the research shows that L-Citrulline has to be in the citrulline malate form in order to be processed in the body as a workout enhancer.

This might be the reason why most of the previous users of Nanostim reported that they didn’t notice much of an improvement in their workout from using Nanostim.

Any Other Concerns?

Although Nanostim is in a convenient capsule form, we can’t recommend this product if it doesn’t use the right ingredients to give solid results.
