There aren’t many pre-workout supplements that promise mild results with only a minor improvement to your workout. Instead, the workout industry is riddled with products that promise to be too extreme for their own good.

So when we saw that Six Star Nutrition advertises Professional Strength N.O. Fury as a workout supplement that only has the strongest ingredients that it shouldn’t be used by anyone less than a professional athlete or an elite bodybuilder, we were not surprised.

Although Six Star Nutrition’s marketing strategy is extremely cliché, we decided to look into Professional Strength N.O. Fury nevertheless and see what this pre-workout supplement could really offer.

Background

As is obvious from Professional Strength N.O. Fury’s title, this supplement promises to increase the levels of N.O. (or Nitric Oxide) in your body so that your blood vessels are dilated and more blood can flow through.

With increased blood flow, your muscles will have more access to oxygenated blood, nutrients and energy. Not only will this help you perform better on your first rep, but it will also allow you to workout longer before your muscles feel too fatigued.

This is because when your muscles don’t have oxygen to convert carbs into ATP, they have to do the process anaerobically which causes lactic acid, a byproduct of this anaerobic metabolism, and creates the burning, shaky feeling of fatigued muscles.

Ingredients

Even though increasing your nitric oxide is undoubtedly a good approach to improving your workouts, it is much easier said than done.

But despite this, Professional Strength N.O. Fury seems to have some pretty impressive ingredients up its sleeve. For instance, we saw a handful of amino acids, including Citrulline Malate on Professional Strength N.O. Fury’s label.

Citrulline Malate, as an intermediary in the urea cycle, has been found to help the body get rid of lactic acid buildup faster, allowing for an increase in stamina.

We also saw a large amount of Creatine which has been shown to increase the amount of energy that gets delivered to your muscle cells, helping you feel energized for longer amounts of time.

Our Opinion

Although we didn’t see anything unique or exciting in Professional Strength N.O. Fury’s formula, we definitely saw some ingredients that have been proven to give satisfactory results. For this reason, we think that Professional Strength N.O. Fury is an adequate pre-workout supplement.
