You know that point in your workout when you just can’t seem to do one more rep, even though you know that the last set is the most important part of your workout?

Well Animal Pak claims to be able to help you push through that fatigue and help you break that ceiling and get more out of each workout with its pre-workout supplement, Rage.

We decided to investigate Rage to see if it really could add that extra pip to your workout or if it was just another supplement claiming to be something it’s not.

What Does Rage Do?

Animal Pak doesn’t just promise that Rage will bring you increased energy levels and fight off fatigue, but this supplement also claims to be able increase your intensity, focus and even your insanity.

This supplement company promises to “summon up the inner darkness we know better than to ever expose to the light of day, delicately toeing the razor’s edge of insanity.” Promising to bring the insanity out in you so that you can have a more insane workout with less sane results.

What Does Rage Have Going For It?

Even though Animal Pak promises many benefits to Rage’s formula, we weren’t going to be impressed unless we could see some impressive ingredients to match these weighty claims.

After looking at Rage’s label, we can definitely see some ingredients that might be effective. For example, there are a handful of amino acids like L-Taurine, L-Tyrosine, Beta-Alanine and Citrulline Malate that could help give your body what you need to produce more muscle mass.

Citrulline is an amino acid that is found in the rinds of watermelon and can help your body increase its levels of energy and endurance. For this reason, we think that Rage might be able to have some ways of increasing your long-term energy levels.

Should I Try Rage?

However, there are also some ingredients in Rage that we didn’t find quite as impressive as the amino acids we found. One ingredient, Phenylethylamine, is a psychoactive drug that is used to treat those who suffer from severe depression.

Unfortunately, Phenylethylamine is a very fragile drug that has been found to be destroyed by the harsh acids in the stomach. This means that any product that uses Phenylethylamine orally, like Rage does, Will not have a stimulating effect.

Because Rage doesn’t have as many effective ingredients as we thought, we weren’t impressed by this product.
