Slimgenics is like any other common diet plan in that it allows you to lose weight in the comfort of your own home. You don’t have to live in a lab any time soon. But unlike other diet plans, there are no group meetings, no public weigh ins, just one counselor that you work with and report to on a regular basis, and according to reports, one high pressure salesman.
Technically, Slimgenics does have a 25 year history, though it has only been called Slimgenics since 2009, and it only operates in 2 states. You cannot buy it online, you actually have to go to a local office, which obviously severely limits Slimgenics’ sales. So how does Slimgenics work?
Slimgenics’ 3 Elements
Grocery Store Based Foods – Slimgenics focuses advertising on grocery foods that anybody can find and easily buy. It supposedly provides you with a sustainable focus and approach, promoting a nutritionally balanced and sustainable program for weight loss and weight management for life. But just wait a minute, it’s not quite that simple.
Thermo-Snacks – Slimgenics also provides consumers with a number of “healthy” perfectly portioned thermo snacks or meal replacements such as protein bars, shakes, and other meal replacements that cost you a lot of money. In fact, this is a lot of what you end up paying for when you spend $2000-$4000 from what I’ve heard per month! If you think this is a good idea, just think of Oprah on SlimFast.
Weight Loss Enhancers – Slimgenics has about 10 different supplements that you can take to “enhance your weight loss results.” Again, relying on supplements can be helpful. But Slimgenics does not provide the ingredients, meaning we don’t even know if these supplements make a difference at all or if these supplements are even safe.
Conclusion
Slimgenics may talk the talk. But walking the walk is far more important. Presenting an appealing face pulls you in, and you might even want to buy Slimgenics. But any good program worth its salt should help you to lose weight now AND keep it off in the future! And Slimgenics does not do that.
