I’ve seen diet pills do it. There are plenty of Chinese, French, Swedish, and other foreign diet pills, because everybody else must have gotten the slip on us! But I’ve only seen one other diet doing it. When it comes to dieting, we love the French, which is why a doctor published The French Don’t Diet Plan.
Why We Love the French Diet
The French are known for eating fatty foods. If you go to a French restaurant, even in the United States, a lot of the food is covered in butter, French people obviously eat cheese, and the diet looks a lot like an American diet. It’s fatty. We’ve credited red wine with this, even though it has essentially been disproven.
But we focus on the “French paradox”, and we are unable to wrap our heads around the idea that the French love the same foods that we do and yet the French are not obese. The French do not even have rates of obesity that could be compared to the UK, which is the second biggest diet pill market in the world!
Why French People Really Stay Healthier
There is one thing that separates French people from us. And The French Don’t Diet Plan does not capitalize on this! French people eat less. It’s that simple. French people use smaller portion sizes, which automatically cuts calories, and oh yeah, French people also tend to walk a little bit more. So in other words…..French people diet and exercise. But like I said, The French Don’t Diet Plan is not based on these concepts.
Why You Don’t Get to Eat the Good Stuff
The French Don’t Diet Plan really does focus on the idea that you can eat whatever you want and still lose weight, and it obviously sounds good. But realistically, it’s not true. French Women Don’t Get Fat allows you to eat what you want as long as you eat less of it and exercise more, which is truly French.
The French Don’t Diet Plan on the other hand requires that you follow a low glycemic diet plan. You can eat as much as you want. But you will be making some pretty huge changes. I am not saying that it’s bad. The French Don’t Diet Plan encourages you to eat more fruits and vegetables. But it’s not exactly what it’s advertised as.
Using The French Don’t Diet Plan
I don’t think it’s a bad idea to use The French Don’t Diet Plan. It has good concepts behind it, and you can lose weight. Scientists have tested similar diets, and low glycemic diets actually seem to be pretty healthy, cutting out a lot of processed foods that your body does not actually need. But it’s so common!
