Tone deTox is a colon cleanser that first caught our eyes because of its free trial offer.
However, after we got over the excitement about a free product, we also noticed that Tone deTox claims to help you do many other things, including weight loss.
What’s The Hype About Tone deTox?
Even though it is common for a colon cleanser to claim to be able to help you lose weight as well, we can’t help but be impressed by any product that would take on two such huge tasks.
But losing weight and cleansing your colon aren’t even big enough tasks for Tone deTox; it also promises that it will boost your energy, reduce headaches and irritability, and help you maintain healthy cholesterol levels.
In our business, we are used to realizing that if a product seems too good to be true, it most likely is. But, not wanting to miss out on a good thing, we decided to do a little more research to see what Tone deTox was really about.
Does It Live Up To The Hype?
Unfortunately, we didn’t see a lot of things that made us think Tone deTox could even do half of the things it claimed to be able to do.
For instance, Tone deTox does not have any ingredients that have been proven to help you lose weight. The closest they come are with the two proteins, protease and amylase.
Tone deTox claims that protease and amylase help stimulate the breaking down of proteins in your body, thus facilitating the calorie burning process. However, these claims have not been verified by anyone in the scientific community.
Does It Have Any Redeeming Qualities?
Tone deTox does have the dietary fiber Glucomannan. Glucomannan is beneficial in a colon cleanser because it absorbs excess water in the stomach and small intestine, making it a good source of roughage for your digestive system.
However, even though Tone deTox might be a medium-grade colon cleanser, we are not impressed with the fact that they feel like they have to lie about their product in order to get people to buy it.
