Generally, the people you see that are ripped from head to toe with solid muscle, generally aren’t following a vegan diet. It’s pretty commonly understood that you’re going to need a lot more than beans and tofu in order to get that bodybuilder physique.
However, Vega Sport Pre-Workout Energizer is supposed to help you get better benefits from your workout with an all vegan formula.
Although we’re definitely skeptical that Vega Sport Pre-Workout Energizer can significantly improve your workout, we thought it was unique enough that we should check it out to see what this pre-workout supplement could really do.
The Good
Even though a vegan formula might not seem like a hearty way to build muscle, it generally means that the ingredients in the supplement aren’t harsh chemicals and have been derived from nature.
This generally means that the supplement will be more compatible with your body’s natural processes and won’t have any or as much residual side effects of other, less natural supplements.
One ingredient that we saw in Vega Sport Pre-Workout Energizer, Green Tea, fits these requirements. While so many energizing supplements use harsh stimulants that can cause nervous energy and jitters, Green Tea has been found to be a natural way to increase your energy levels.
Not only can it boost your energy, but Green Tea can also start increasing your metabolism when you use it routinely for a long period of time. This means that you’ll be able to get rid of fat that could be decreasing the definition of your muscles.
The Bad
Unfortunately, Vega Sport Pre-Workout Energizer doesn’t have many other ingredients that seemed to have any real potential.
One ingredient, Rhodiola, has been found to potentially be a natural anti-depressant, having been chewed by the natives of Siberia to fight the emotional and mental stress that the harsh climate can have.
But even though Rhodiola might be able to increase your mood, it hasn’t been shown to boost your muscles’ abilities or even give you more stamina.
The Skinny
Because Vega Sport Pre-Workout Energizer promised to be able to give you an immediate energy boost, as well as a sustained source, we expected to see more ingredients that would provide energy specifically for your muscle cells.
Regrettably, after closer inspection of Vega Sport Pre-Workout Energizer, we found this supplement to be lacking in enough ingredients to make it worth the $40’s worth.
